Gol Airlines is a low-cost Brazilian airline that mainly operates in Brazil, though it features both domestic and international destinations. At the beginning of 2015, Gol signed a code sharing agreement with Copa Airlines, whose hub is Panama City. This allows the Brazilian company to offer Gol tickets with destinations in Panama and the United States. During the last quarter of 2014, Gol Airlines had already signed a code sharing agreement with Aerolíneas Argentinas, with the aim to enhance Gol’s range of destinations, thus benefitting clients from both airlines. As part of that agreement, passengers can now fly from Córdoba to Río de Janeiro. Tam also has code sharing agreements with Alitalia, Qatar Airlines, Delta, TAP Portugal, Etihad, as well as KLM and AirFrance, the two airlines that make up the Air France-KLM Group, which has recently bought a share of Gol Linheas Aéreas Inteligentes.
