United Airlines has confirmed its merger with Continental Airlines, which together will be called United Continental Holdings, thus becoming the world’s largest airline company. To accomplish its mission, United Airlines has linked its technological platform for passenger reservation and registration with that of its partner, so as to provide passengers with an even better service. The US airline has in turn added a new route: Durango-Los Angeles, which will offer one daily flight. It will also incorporate an additional flight between the Bay Area, San Francisco, and Washington.
