The house staff includes a wonderful cook that will prepare the best Zihua dishes!

What does Casa Las Gatas offers? A basic home, with comfy beds, nice towels and a great wild adventure. Come and enjoy with family and friends!

The staff is included in the price of the house from 9:00am to 6:00pm Cook, houskeepers, weiter and handyman. Last meal can be served by 4:30pm as latest since the staff leaves at 6:00pm, we want to make sure you have enough time to enjoy your meal.

We can help you make the grocery purchase for you with an extra fee.

It´s importat to consider that Casa Las Gatas is in a unique location, the only way to get here is by a panga (a traditional Zihua boat).

Arrival and departure panga transportation is complementary.

We are located in a place of limited access, WiFi speed is 10 M, mobiles work quite well and all the rooms are equipped with ceiling fans.

The service of the cook, waiter and housekeeping are included in the rate.

We can assist you with a grocery purchase so we can have it ready for you at the house, this service has an extra fee.

Food and beverages are not included.

The payment of the products is required before the arrival via wire transfer.

For a better experience we recommend our guests to bring water shoes, as Playa Las Gatas has corals and peble stones.

The boats during your stay from the house to town, have a cost of $300 pesos (around 15 usd), up to 8 people. Please consider 1 to 2 hours notice in order to arrange the panga transportation.

Local boats are available as well from 9:00am to 5:00pm at the local pier, they usually have a cost of $100 pesos per person per trip.

Boats requested between 10:00pm and 6:00am can be scheduled in advance but consider that they duplicate their cost.

There are no local boats available during the night.

Playa las Gatas is an emblematic site of Zihuatanejo for its blue and calm waters, it was also the place where the Purepecha royalty enjoyed the beach, a traditional legend says that a Calzontzin (emperor purepecha) ordered to place a barrier of giant stones to be able to swim without the waves disturbing him and his family.

We have 2 complementary kayaks with which you can explore the bay and visit other beaches. It is very important that you review the guide that shows how to navigate the beach since in some parts of the reef the wave can be dangerous and throw you into the corals. (these kayaks are shared with Casa Owen)

Playa de las Gatas sometimes and depending on the dates can be very crowded, that is why on holidays we recommend visiting it in the mornings.

Also, you can take a kayak and sail Playa de las Gatas or visit the other 4 beaches of the bay.

Between the months of May to September with luck there may be swell for surfing!
