About Recanto Luiz Carlos: Conforto Rústico

The Neighborhood: Vila de Luiz Carlos

Vila de Luiz Carlos is the most charming and visited destination in Guararema. This historic neighborhood seems frozen in time, preserving the original nineteenth and twentieth-century architecture.

Walking Tour: The great advantage of your house is being just 150 meters from this area. Guests can forget about the car and walk to the Luis Carlos Train Station, where the famous steam train makes its stop.

Gastronomy and Culture: The neighborhood offers a variety of gastronomic experiences, from cozy cafés and artisanal ice cream shops to restaurants serving traditional cuisine. On weekends, the village comes alive with cyclists, motorcyclists, and families who enjoy the nostalgic atmosphere.

Photography: It is one of the region’s most photogenic spots, with its colorful houses and bucolic setting.

The City: Guararema (SP)

Located about 80 km from São Paulo, Guararema is known as the “Nature City” and is an example of organization, cleanliness, and hospitality.

Sustainable Tourism: The city is crossed by the Paraíba do Sul River and features immaculate parks such as Recanto do Américo (Pau d’Alho) and Parque da Pedra Montada.

A Destination for All Seasons: In winter, the mountain climate invites the use of fireplaces and wine.

In summer, the forest and river waters (plus your house’s pool!) are the main attractions.

At the end of the year, the city becomes nationally famous for the ''Guararema Christmas City'' event, attracting thousands of tourists with its lighting made from recycled PET bottles.

Infrastructure: This is a safe city, with excellent signage and a complete range of shops, all while maintaining the tranquility of a small town.

The main access is via the Ayrton Senna Highway (SP-070) or Presidente Dutra Highway (BR-116), continuing on Henrique Eroles Highway (SP-066).

Parking: Our property offers private spaces for 3 to 4 cars, which is a great advantage since street parking in the village is usually restricted and paid (blue zone) on weekends and holidays.
