"I've stayed at this hotel several times. I find the bay view and location very nice. Unfortunately, my last stay was a bad experience. The air conditioning in the room I was assigned didn't work; apparently, it was a problem with the entire floor. Also, the shower water stagnated, and while I understand that these things sometimes happen, what really bothered me was that they lied to me. The front desk representative offered to refund the first night (out of four), but a month later, that didn't happen and won't happen. When I called, they told me they couldn't refund anything because it was a prepaid reservation made through a third party (Despegar, with whom it's practically impossible to get in touch with anyone). Lying to customers is wrong, but offering a room in poor condition is even worse. I won't be staying here again."
