KLM, officially called Royal Dutch Airlines, is the world’s oldest airline. Over time, it has kept its original name and its hub is Amsterdam Airport Schiphol, located in the Dutch capital. At the end of 2003, the airline merged with Air France, thus forming the Air France-KLM Group, of which KLM is a subsidiary. Together, they make up for the world’s largest airline in terms of operating revenue. On the other hand, Air France-KLM became part of the group SkyTeam in 2004, joining forces with Delta Airlines, Aeromexico and Alitalia, among others. KLM includes a number of branches, which are divided according to the region they operate in or the type of service they offer, be it for transporting passengers or cargo. The flights operated by the Dutch airline feature two cabin levels: Economy and Business Class.
